Productive thrifting madness followed by a crafting extravaganza. Made a special surprise for someone (will post later because I’m extremely proud of the results and I have the need to document this moment like a kid putting their A+ test on the fridge), which was then followed by denim bows!
Some are irregular in shape, but I love them all the same. If you want one, let me know because I...

cleaning my room...
I’ve learned that I’m kind of a hoarder. Not like the hoarders you see on TLC or anything. Maybe it’s just that I don’t have the heart to throw away old birthday cards, but I’m 23 and there’s really no need to keep birthday cards from my sweet 16; I’m no longer sweet or 16. I also keep old things that boyfriends gave me that are really embarrassing for...
Club Bed Sheets
Much like your typical 23 year old, I spend most of my Friday and Saturday nights at the best club ever: Club Bed Sheets. This is where I discover some hip, cool beats that I can move and groove to. I can also curl up and read a book or watch a movie. However, the maximum occupancy is probably 3, although I’ve never tried to fit more than 3 (4, if you include my main squeeze, Juno) in my...
diy list.
Un. Bow ties in every single material possible. Denim, velour, and some fun prints.
Deux. Peter pan collars or collars in general. Specifically this adorable one.
Trois. Collar tips.
Quatre. Rings. Note to self: buy ring backs from ebay.
Hopefully, I’ll be crossing these things off very soon.

watch the throne.
It was pretty legit. Jay-Z was the king and Kanye was his queen because girl was wearing some leather leggings with a leather, pleated skirt over the leggings. I just couldn’t take him seriously when he was rapping H.A.M. Forreals? You’re rapping about being “hard as a motherfucker” and you’re wearing that? Overall, the lighting effects were awesome possum & I had...
I figured that I’ve neglected this thing long enough and that finals week is the perfect time to procrastinate practice my writing skills.
The other day at work, this middle aged black lady walked past my store (I don’t even know if that’s the appropriate word to use, since my store isn’t really a store nor is it a kiosk. I guess it’s more like an area) and was...

Little Bit...
in love with Lykke Li. She’s pretty much amazing live, although I wish she talked more because her set felt so damn quick. I’ve never been to a concert where the people around me didn’t dance or sing their hearts out, but I guess there’s a first for everything. SERIOUSLY! People didn’t dance dance dance (I hope you’re getting these song references), which made...

winning
Despite the rain & my cranky demeanor, I managed to score a lot at the thrift store for under 13 dollars ($12.10 to be exact). Thank you extra 30% off at Thrift Town for Columbus Day! Why thrift stores have a sale when their clothes are already dirt cheap, I cannot explain, but tis a glorious thing! I basically stole a shweet plaid flannel shirt (men’s section), 4 groovy graphic...

Shoe Lust.
Currently coveting these Litas.
Today, I went to Ulta with Po & Morga and spotted these lovely beauts.
LIMITED EDITION HALLOWEEN SALLY HANSEN NAIL STRIPS! Obviously, I had to snag me a box of these, but I really wish these weren’t limited edition and that they would throw out the butterfly ones and add these instead to the permanent line. They have other designs, but I personally like this one the best. Click here...
what's up ombré?
There are a couple of fashion trends I can’t stand: ruching and ombré. Blech. However, I am not going to lie, I am absolutely in love with ombré nails.
How pretty. I basically want to recreate this in every single color, so here’s my lame attempt at trying:

A is for Adele.
It’s been approximately 24 hours since I’ve heard Adele’s glorious voice & can I just say that she’s awesomely adorable and wonderfully spectacular. I pretty much loved every single minute of her concert and I loved that she sang songs from both 19 & 21 specifically “Right as Rain,” “Hometown Glory,” and “Chasing Pavements.” On...
Crazy, stupid, love.
Can I just say that I love this movie? I almost feel that any movie with Emma Stone in it is a sure winner in my book. I also think that she’s just playing herself, but when you’re that awesome why be anybody else? Also, Ryan Gosling is looking unf-alicious in this movie albeit a little douchey, but at the end quite lovable. And that scene with the velcro wallet is exactly how I feel...

I wish it was hot enough this summer to do this:
