3 key things that I’ve learned from working retail:
1. People are fucking crazy.
2. People are dirty, seriously.
3. Most importantly, people are fucking stupid.
I could elaborate on my points, but that would just take too long.
Noel and I were watching the movie “Like Crazy,” which if you haven’t seen is a must, simply because the soundtrack is amazing and Jennifer Lawrence aka Katniss (star of The Hunger Games) is in the movie. The synopsis of the movie goes something along the lines of this: boy and girl meet. Boy and girl fall in love. Girl is from the U.K. and doesn’t leave when her student visa expires, but has to go back for a wedding and isn’t allowed back into the U.S. for obvious reasons. Anyways, during the movie, Noel turns to me and says “Why can’t she come back to the U.S.? I don’t get it” and I explain to him “Her visa expired. They won’t let her back in.” He looks at me confused and says to me “It’s just a debit card, right?” I am thinking to myself “ROFLCOPTER ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!,” so I say to him “HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. YA GOTTA BE SHITTIN ME BRO!?” or something along the lines of that. I make him pause the movie, so I can explain to him what a visa is and he goes “Ohhh, that makes sense. I was thinking that they could just put money on her card and they could let her back into the U.S.” Too funny, not to share and I told him I was going to put this on tumblr.
As much hype as this book turned movie series is getting, I’m not as excited for the movie because Gale is played by Liam Hemsworth aka Miley Cyrus’ boyfriend aka not attractive enough in my mind to play Gale and because usually things that are hyped don’t turn out well for me. However, I am excited for the nail polishes. Swatches found here. Super excited and trying not to spend my whole entire paycheck on nail polishes, but seriously need these in my life. With all the nail polishes I have, I’m seriously considering opening my own nail salon because I just don’t have enough finger and toe nails to paint.
